A Level Up is a  501(c)  not-for-profit organization founded to impact individuals by motivating them to move from a position of hopelessness ‘a level up’ to reach for their dreams and a positive destiny.

The vision of A Level Up is to enhance the quality of life for individuals by inspiring HOPE and empowering them to achieve their full potential.  We want everyone to be the best they can be not just in spite of their circumstances, but because of and through their circumstances.

At A Level Up we believe that if we IMPACT an individual, we can impact a family.  If we IMPACT a family, we can impact a community.  If we IMPACT a community, we can impact the world.

About GGE

The Great Gift Exchange is an event, sponsored by ALU, designed to provide a holiday party and gifts to 1700 disadvantaged children in Northwest Arkansas, Joplin, MO, and Stilwell, OK. Children are selected from local schools and other non-profit organizations, in Grades K-5, who may not otherwise have the opportunity to experience the joy of receiving during this holiday season. For ALU, this is an opportunity to give back and help a population of children live better. It is our intent to share with each child that they are a “gift” created to accomplish a special purpose, and that the ultimate gift they can give in life is to share their unique gifts and talents with everyone, everyday.

The Soulful Christmas Gala

Lighting The Way For The 2012 Great Gift Exchange

November 30th, 2012 | 7-9pm

A Soulful Christmas Gala  is an ALU fundraising event presented to benefit their community outreach the Great Gift Exchange.  A Soulful Christmas Gala is designed to provide a Soulful holiday party for guest to enjoy an evening of Soulful appetizers and desserts prepared by Chef Steven Brooks,  a silent auction, meet special guest, Sloane Roberts, 2012 Miss Arkansas, and an atmosphere filled with the smooth ‘Jazzy’ sounds of the Soulful Sound Band & Friends.

The event, A Soulful Christmas Gala, is on Friday,  November 30, 2012, 7:00pm - 9:00pm, at the Springdale Country Club.  All proceeds from this event will be used to benefit approximately 1,700  underprivileged children in Northwest Arkansas,  Joplin, MO and Stillwell, OK.  ALU needs 5,100 gifts and has a goal to raise $25,000 to inspire hope and impact the lives of children who may not experience the joy of receiving during the Christmas season.

Toy Drives

November 1, 2012 – December 1, 2012

We need 5100 gifts!

To reach our goal to have all 1700 children leave the Great Gift Exchange event with a “Gift Bag of Hope” containing at least three toys, we need community businesses to participate in our Toy Drive.
